Kyambura Gorge lodge, is located at the edge of Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth national park in western Uganda, Kyambura Gorge lodge boasts with breathtaking views of the western arm of the Albertine rift valley escarpments, the mountain of the moon ranges from afar off and the vast Savannah vegetation of Queen Elizabeth and the magnificent forest canopy of the Kyambura area.

The lodge contains eight accommodation bandas built in African designs of local materials from the surrounding communities.

The Kyambura Gorge lodge living room area used to be an old coffees store surrounded by coffee plantations but was restored sensitively with African tapestry into accommodation​unit with panoramic views of the rolling coffee plantations.

Each of the eight spacious lodge cottages are perched each differing in color theme within the hillsides with en suite bathrooms and excellent views of Savannah vast lands with the kyambura Gorge escarpments and far Rwenzori mountain ranges.

The lodge is also one of the best accommodation units for tourists on chimpanzee trekking safaris on the magnificent kyambura George because of its approximate location near in Kyambura.

The lodge offers a living room area with a majestic swimming pool where you can relax after a long gorilla trekking day or you do a massage from the sauna also Wi-Fi network is available in public areas.

A part from chimpanzee trekking from the striking Kyambura Gorge, you can take a game drive to  Uganda’s number one tourist destination queen Elizabeth and encounter different wild life like the unique tree climbing lions found in ishasha plains and various types of antelopes, elephants, leopards, hyenas, giant forest hogs and many more.

This lions are often seen on top of acacia and sycamore trees lying lazily in the afternoon hours and times eating their prey from the tree branches tourists who are bird enthuses can also go for bird watching within the Kyambura Gorge or go for nature walks at the rain forests of Queen Elizabeth National Park an exceptional boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel would be superb as you can view hippos very closely in the boats with other water animals.
