Tabingi Safari lodge

Tabingi Safari lodge is a mid-range accommodation found in Katunguru , 12 km from Katunguru gate of the Queen Elizabeth National park along Mbarara –Kasese High way in the western part of Uganda. The camp is outside the park overlooking the magical Kazinga Channel, which is the perfect base for tourists and travellers to see wide range of animals. One can be at the camp by road taking approximately 5-6 hours (370km) drive from Kampala city to Queen Elizabeth National Park then an hour flight from Entebbe International Airport to close Kasese airstrip and few minutes to be transferred to the lodge.
Tabingi safari lodge is comprised of 8 spacious and comfortable cottages including the family cottages overlooking the beautiful views of the park built in African traditional style with grass thatched roof and with high level of comfort. Each cottage is well furnished and elevated to meet guest’s personal fondness with mosquito nets , bathroom with hot and cold showers , flushing toilets, free toiletries , chairs and wooden tables , complementary bottled water, slippers in the rooms and many more . Each cottage has large sitting areas, balconies and veranda that give a panoramic view of the park, Rwenzori Mountain ranges and surrounding areas. The cottages have excellent and comfortable beddings with queen sized bed. There is campfire pit where fire glows, guests relax as they share stories/ experiences about the safari, it also provides warmth during cold periods. The lodge offers Singles beds for individuals and double beds/ twins for sharing and family/group rooming otions

A dining areas overlooking the park serving different mouth-watering meal to meet visitors choice both local and international cuisine (ala carte menu). They offer breakfasts, Picnic lunch and dinner served by well trained and organized staff. They offer bush breakfast while enjoying the morning sunrises and bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky.
A well-stocked bar with both hard and soft drinks that includes; beers, wines, sodas etc, you sip any drink of your choice while enjoying the stunning view of queen Elizabeth national park , Rwenzori ranges and surrounding areas

Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest and most visited national park found in western Uganda near historical town of Fort portal (Tourism city) in the districts of Kasese, Kamwengye, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. The park occupies the total area of 987 km squared . The park extends from Lake George in the northeast to Lake Edward in the southwest and includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes. It’s the wide channel in Uganda with 32 kilometers long. There are different accommodations in Queen Elizabeth National Park; budget ,mid- range and luxury accommodations. The park has the variety of flora and fauna over 100 mammals and 612 species of bird which attract more tourists.
