What makes cultural tourism special? Well, many people will always know of have a clue about wildlife, nature and landscape tourism because it’s what’s most popular however in East Africa you also get to have cultural tourism which for people who have experienced it say it’s one of the most amazing experiences they have had in the region.
So, what is cultural tourism and what makes it special?
Cultural tourism is tourism where the tourist’s journey through different specific destinations to see people and interact with different aspects of their culture like food, dance, norms, values, traditions, songs, behaviors and many other things.
So, what makes cultural tourism special?
Among the many things that make cultural tourism special are the following: –
Experiencing rich cultural heritage. In the different places a tourist gets to experience cultural heritages that they have different ethnic groups and these give you such. Rich experience, you will be amazed.

You get to also experience local markets in the different communities which is so different from the supermarkets and they more homely and interactive. In the markets yo get to buy different items and souvenirs.
You also get to learn about traditional medicine, different herbs and their significance in treating common ailments.
You learn new games and sports from the different cultures. That you can take home for with to play for fun.
