This 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure is an interesting safari that starts from Entebbe Uganda and ends in Kigali Rwanda. The safari will take you to different national parks including Kibale forest national park also known as the primate capital where you will be able to spend time with the chimpanzees. The 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure will also take you to Bwindi impenetrable national park and Volcanoes national park where you will be able to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Kibale Forest National Park
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe international airport on the first day of the 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure, you will connect for your domestic flight to Kasese airstrip which departs from Entebbe airport at around 7:00am and10:30am arriving at Kasese airstrip at around 08:15am and 11:45pm respectively. Upon arrival, you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer to Kibale forest national park where you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will spend the rest of the day at leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer to Kanyachu visitors Centre for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest in search of the chimpanzees which takes about 2 to 5 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat which gives you a chance to learn more about their habits, watch them feed, breastfeed, play, rest, take photos and record videos. After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an afternoon nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will be able to spot different bird species, primates, plant and tree species, enjoy the cool and quiet environment among others. After the swamp walk, you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Fly to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After breakfast on the third day of the 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kasese airstrip for your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip.
Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will meet up with our driver guide and transfer to your lodge in Buhoma sector for lunch where after you will relax at the lodge and later go for an optional Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa people, learn about their culture, way of living, lifestyle, taste their local meals, listen to their ancient stories, enjoy their traditional performances among others. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure, you will carry packed lunch and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations of gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 2 to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking, you will have views of other primates, different bird species, plant and tree species among others. Once the gorillas are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones, observe their behaviors, take photos and record the breath-taking moments.
After the encounter with the gentle giants you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking, meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes national park
On the fifth day of the 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Volcanoes national park. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and enjoy views of the rolling hills, scenery, tea and banana plantations among others. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Golden monkey trekking and departure to Kigali
After an early breakfast on the last day of the 6 days Uganda Rwanda flying adventure, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a golden monkey trekking briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 2 to 5 hours depending on where the golden monkeys are located. During trekking, you will be able to view other wildlife species and once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat.
After the one hour with the golden monkeys, you will return to the starting where you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kigali. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and then proceed to Kigali International airport where you will be dropped off or drop off at any place of advice.
