7 Days Kibale, Queen, & Lake Bunyonyi Safari: 7 Days safari will take you to Uganda’s finest national park and relaxation places on a Uganda safari tour. This trip involves exploring the primates and wildlife including the Chimpanzees in Kibale forest national park. This park gives the best opportunities of meeting the endangered chimpanzees as compared to any other primate conservation area. It also features visiting Queen Elizabeth national park for a wildlife experience where you encounter the lions in the lion tracking experience and also view other animals during the game drives. And lastly visit Lake Bunyonyi, which is deepest lake in East Africa with 44 -900 meters deep and with about 29 islands. Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale National Park – Bigodi nature walk

Depending on your location in Kampala, you will be picked up by our company representative/ driver who will drive to Kibale national park– the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Arrive in the park in the afternoon for lunch in fort portal town, then go for a 2-3 hours nature walk in Bigodi wetland before you proceed to your lodge in Kibale. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking – Explore Fort portal town

After breakfast you will go for chimpanzee trekking with your packed food and water. Meet your guide at the head office then enter the rainforest to start searching for the chimpanzee, this will take 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees. On seeing them, you will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures. Later afternoon, visit Amabere caves and waterfalls and the Crater lakes. Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park – evening game drive

Day 4: Morning game drive and Boat cruise

Very early morning, meet your guide for a game drive and spot a good number of wildlife including Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes and all species of antelopes. Return to the lodge and have lunch.

After enjoying your lunch at the lodge, go for your boat trip along the Kazinga channel for yet another wildlife/bird watching experience as you cruise on lake Edward/George. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast early in the morning, you drive to Lake Bunyonyi. It’s a 6-7 hours’ drive via Ishaka with lunch in Mbarara town. Proceed to Kabale and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi through the rolling hills. Check-in at your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Explore Lake Bunyonyi

After having breakfast, connect to explore the lake on a canoe ride and visit some of the islands on the lake. Bunyonyi comprises of 29 islands especially the punishment island and the lake is the best place of relaxation. After your lunch, do a Zip-lining experience and relax at the lake shore with great views of the hills. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 7; Transfer Back to Kampala

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch, arriving in Kampala in the evening. Drop off to your hotel in Kampala or the Airport for your onward flight marking the end of your Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth Safari.
