Queen Elizabeth national park also referred to as the medley of  wonders,  is Uganda’s  second largest national park. Patched within the rift valley overlooking the Rwenzori Mountains alias Mountains of the  moon. Queen Elizabeth national park boasts of a wide  assortment of wildlife species, bird species and several  features  that  have made it such and awesome Uganda safari destination.  some of the most notable  wildlife species include the elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, water bucks, leopards,  hyenas, topis, jacksons hartbeests, crocodiles and hippos among others.

The park has also  got several features  that play as a  substantive attraction alongside the main park,some of the  feature include;

Kyambura gorge,  the gorge is a unique feature within in the park worth visiting  famous chimpanzee trekking  and nature walks.

Kazinga Channel:  the channel  is a  water body the joins lake Edward and lake George . Kazinga channel   offers   a thrilling  boat cruise as  the main activity to view one of the largest schools of hippos in the world, crocodiles, several birds and wildlife species ashore.

Kalinzu forest:  Kalinzu forest also part of the a wide assortment of attraction nestled within the confines of this rich national park.  the forest is  to chimpanzee there by giving rise to the chimpanzee trekking as activity alongside    nature walks in the forest.

Katwe salt lake: the salt lake serves  a major salt deposits in uganda  and  hence serves the population of  uganda.

craters: the park  has also got several beautiful crater lakes that have from time to time  been a tourism  marvel.
