Ishasha jungle lodge is a mid-range accommodation (3 stars) found 2 km from katokye gate of queen Elizabeth national park in Uganda along river Ntungwe. The lodge is in kihihi sub county, kanungu district . The lodge is in the perfect base where to start safari adventures in queen Elizabeth national park and its is surrounded by Riparian forest vegetation and acacia savannah. One can be at the lodge by road taking approximately 5-6 hours (370km) drive from kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park then an hour to fly from Entebbe international airport to kihihi airstrip and few minutes to be transferred to the lodge. The lodge is convenient and business friendly to guests visiting the park since its famous for its Kazinga channel, Wildlife visiting the long, tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector and many others. The lodge is under Uganda lodges that offers unique accommodations to different parts of Uganda .
Ishasha jungle lodge is comprised of 10 beautifu and elegant l designed rooms built in African traditional style with grass thatched roof , local woods and modern comfort . Rooms are well furnished and decorated to meet guest’s personal fondness with mosquito nets , air conditioning , satellites, Flat screen TV’s , driers , and other facilities. Rooms contain en suite facilities like ; flushing toilets , hot and cold showers. Each room have sitting areas ,terraces and balconies that gives a panoramic view of the savannah plains , kazinga channel , wildlife other surrounding areas. The Lodge has excellent and comfortable beddings with king sized bed. There are fireplace at the lodge that provides warmth during cold periods to guests staying there . Rooms varies in different sizes and different categories depending on deluxe, standard , Executive in Singles, double ,twin and family cottages with costs ranging from 300$ and above per night per person, during peak season it goes slightly high than in low season .

Queen Elizabeth National park is the second largest and most visited national park found in western Uganda near historical town of Fort portal (Tourism city) in districts of Kasese, Kamwengye, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. The park occupies the total area of 987 km squared .The park extends from Lake George in the north-east to Lake Edward in the south-westand includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes. It’s the wide channel in Uganda with 32 kilometers long. There are different accommodations in Queen Elizabeth national park; budget ,mid range and luxury accommodations. The park has the variety of flora and fauna over 100 mammals and 612 species of bird which attract more tourists.
