Savannah resort hotel is a 3-star Mid -range accommodation situated in Kihihi town council, Kanungu district outside queen Elizabeth national park between Bwindi impenetrable national park and the Ishasha Region In Uganda. The hotel is located 8km from Queen Elizabeth national park and 43km away from bwindi forest national park. The hotel is in the perfect base for Ishasha game viewing Tracks especially Viewing the rare world’s animals; tree climbing lions and Mountain gorillas since Bwindi is 43 km away. One can be at the hotel by road taking approximately 5-6 hours (370km) drive from Kampala city to queen Elizabeth national park then 45 minutes flight from Entebbe international airport /kajjansi airstrip to close Kihihi airstrip and few minutes to be transferred.
Savanah resort hotel Ishasha is comprised of 44 spacious and comfortable rooms of which 32 are grass thatched bandas, 10 standard rooms and 2 deluxe suites with the View of The park built in African traditional style with high level of Comfort . Rooms are well furnished and elevated to meet guest’s personal fondness with mosquito nets, bathroom hot and cold showers, flushing toilets, free bottled water, satellites, air conditioning , extinguishers , free toiletries, chairs and wooden tables, free bottled water, slippers in the rooms to mention but a few. Each room has sitting areas, terraces and large veranda that give a panoramic view of the park and surrounding areas. The hotel has excellent and comfortable rooms all equipped with en suite facilities with king and queen sized bed. There are campfire pit where fire glows, guests relax as they share stories/ experiences about the safari, it also provides warmth during cold periods. The camp offers Singles beds for individuals and double beds/ twins with different costs ranging from 200$ and above per night per person, during peak season it goes slightly high than in low season .

Queen Elizabeth national park is the second largest and most visited national park found in western Uganda near historical town of Fort portal (Tourism city) in districts of Kasese, Kamwengye, Rubirizi and Rukungiri.
The park occupies the total area of 987 km squared .The park extends from Lake George in the north-east to Lake Edward in the south-westand includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes. It’s the wide channel in Uganda with 32 kilometers long. There are different accommodations in Queen Elizabeth national park; budget ,mid range and luxury accommodations. . The park has the variety of flora and fauna over 100 mammals and 612 species of bird which attract more tourists.
