Twin lakes safari lodge is strategically intimate lodge set in the amazing surroundings of the Bunyaruguru great crater field in Uganda. The lodge lies just outside the Queen Elizabeth National Park about 270 meter above the plains, the breath taking views of the endless plains, lakes Edward and George, the Rwenzori Mountain ranges, sunrise and sunset is simply rewarding.

This accommodation is perched on the edge of the escarpment adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth National Park that gives some of the most gainful view.

The lodge gives a great rewardable view of attractions around such as plenty of wildlife, birds, various crater lakes and a vibrant rich culture.

Twin Lakes Safari Lodge is a thatched rooted tented walled rooms perched are on the edge of a hill extending to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The exclusive position on the Eastern edge affords it some of the most spectacular views. It boosts with larges tents which can accommodate up to 30 visitors in spacious canvas tents under permanent grass thatched rooms. Each lodging has cupboard storage, a writing desk and beautiful en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and a hot shower as well as spacious tub.

They were furnished with overlooking private shaded veranda rewarding you with the beauty of queen Elizabeth National Park, flat topped acacia trees and where the occasional elephant graze wander by.

Twin Lakes Safari lodge is comprised of single beds, double –twin and family rooms on affordable rates per night per person, though during peak season the prices goes slightly high than in low season. More to that, the lodge can be accessed approximately 5 to 6 hours’ drive from Kampala city to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Then by flight from Entebbe Airport to close Kasese Airstrip is just few minutes to land to the lodge.

Activities to do while at Twin Lakes Safari lodge –Queen Elizabeth National Park

They include; guided nature walks, swimming, guided game drive through Queen Elizabeth national park, visit the local village around the park, barbecue ‘’BBQ’’ nights, boat cruise on Kazinga channel and traditional dance.

Queen Elizabeth National Park sounds as the largest and most visited national park that lies in western region near historical town of beautiful Fort portal in Kasese districts. The park estimates an area of about 1987 square kilometers and being a large piece of land, it extends from Lake George in the north-east to Lake Edward in the South-Westland includes the kazinga channel connecting the two lakes. More so, the park has wide range of flora and fauna over 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species which attracts tourists. Animals to see includes rare tree climbing lions, elephants, leopards, impalas, antelopes, zebras, buffaloes, among others. Activities offered within the park include; Boat cruise at Kazinga channel that enables you to see aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos, chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge, forest walk in Kalinzu forest, hiking, mining at Katwe, community tours to the local villages, fruit picking experience, birding at Karaka among other impressive activities.
