Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking is any of the destinations starts early with a briefing about the expectations, rules and regulations to be followed during trekking at the park headquarters. After the briefing you will be divided into 8 people and allocated a gorilla group to trek. Grouping of individuals is done according the personal interests, age, physical fitness among others so that visitors who are not physically fit are allocated a gorilla group that is easy to trek. After the grouping you will start trekking in the jungle with a park guide who will be sharing information about the gorillas as you follow gorilla tracks to where the gorillas are. Gorilla trekking takes about 2 to 7 hours depending on their location because they like moving from one place to another in search of food. once the gorillas have been found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat learning more about their lifestyle, habits, behaviors watching them carry out their daily activities, take plenty of photos with a flash less camera and record the moments to show people back home after the safari.
