Queen Elizabeth National Park is a medley of nature with widest variety of wildlife than in any national park in Uganda. It is the second largest national park next to Murchison falls national park; Queen Elizabeth national park spans over a wide area of 1978sq.km covering the districts of kasese, kamwenge, rubirizi and rukungiri in the western region of Uganda. Queen Elizabeth national park is also the most visited national parks in Uganda according to the tourism statistics.

Queen Elizabeth national park has 95 mammal species including africa’s big five; lion, leopard, hippo, elephants apart from the rhino. Queen Elizabeth national park has over 1000 elephants, over 3000 hippos and 2000 buffaloes and an enormous community of kobs seen in kasenyi plains during the big game drive. During the game drive you can stop warthogs, the huge forest hog, and duikers and lucky enough, you can find the hyenas feeding on the left over meal for the lion pride.
