Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison falls
Upon arrival at the airport, our company representative will pick you up and transfer to Murchison Falls national park. You can en route at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a home of the endangered Rhinos since you won’t find them in the park, you will take some 2 hours to trek rhinos before proceeding to Murchison Falls national park. You will have a lunch stopover at Masindi town. Then connect to the park, taking 2 or 3 hours to reach the park. Arrive in the afternoon and proceed to the top of the falls where you will witness the Nile river explode violently and form a very powerful waterfalls. After that amazing experience, proceed to check in your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison lodge (midrange), Paraa safari lodge (luxury), Red chill (budget).
Day 2: Game drive and boat ride on River Nile
Have early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for a game drive in search of animals, expect to meet animals like buffalos, waterbucks, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, Jackson’s heart beasts, oribis, warthogs and other species of animals at the delta. Return later to the lodge for lunch and freshening and prepare for an afternoon activity. After lunch at 2:00pm, report at the landing site to start your boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. At the comfort of your boat, you will see different animal species such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes at the water edges including different bird species. This boat trip is about 3 to 4 hours cruise. Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison lodge (midrange), Paraa safari lodge (luxury)
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and find your way out the park to connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is in the south-west of the country. The journey is about 5 hours via Kyenjojo – Hoima road with lunch stopover in Fort portal town at the Gardens Restaurant. Continue for an 80km journey drive to kasese town with great views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the Lake George of Queen Elizabeth National Park. At that point, you are already viewing many antelopes, elephants and other wildlife. Enter the park and check in the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay at Mweya Safari lodge(luxury), Enganzi lodge/Park View lodge(mid-range)
Day 4: Game drive & the Kazinga channel boat cruise
After early morning breakfast, you will start your day with a morning game drive; this is a great moment driving through the game trails with a great view of the Rwenzori Mountains on clear moments, expect to see lots of animals including elephants, buffaloes and different antelope species. Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for an afternoon boat ride on Kazinga channel and return at around 5pm. Proceed to the lodge and relax at leisure. Dinner and Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge (luxury), Enganzi lodge / Park View Safari Lodge (mid-range)
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala / Entebbe Airport
After a morning breakfast briefly drive through the game trails as you driving out of the park to embark on your return journey to Kampala. En route in Mbarara for lunch and briefly stop at the Equator. Retreat from that and continue to Kampala, refresh and proceed to the airport for your flight back home.
