Day 1: Travel to Kibale rainforest

Your safari guide will pick you on arrival at the airport and briefly discuss about your Uganda safari over a cup of coffee. You will set out on 4-hour travel to Fort Portal; western Uganda. You will travel to Kibale forest and drown into the world brimming with a host of wildlife species.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking the chimpanzees

Today your will explore the Kibale rainforest and discover a Uganda safari destination overflowing with wildlife at every turn. A team of rangers escorts you deep into the thick jungle, you walk in fresh footmarks of chimpanzees and wander in the rainforest following the direction of their calls.

Day 3: Explore Katwe salt-lake, travel to Queen Elizabeth national park

You set out after breakfast, explore the crater area close to Kibale forest and travel to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will visit Katwe, a small town on the shores of Lake Edward and tour the traditional salt mining works. A sunset game viewing drive en route to the hotel is highly recommended as wildlife species wind up the activities of the day.

Day 4:  Game drive, boat cruise

Day 5: Tracking chimpanzees, travel to Lake Mburo

Your safari guide will escort you to chimpanzee tracking starting point at Fig Tree Camp in time for briefing and sharing wilderness experiences. A team of rangers descends you a steep escarpment onto a forest on the bed of the river.

You wander into the wilderness and explore the Kyambura gorge. You discover a very big difference with the chimpanzees earlier tracked in Kibale national park. You will set out on 4-hour travel to Lake Mburo national park. A sunset game viewing drive is a very smart option.

Day 6: Game drive, travel to Kampala

You will explore the woodlands and grasslands on the lookout for wildlife sightings.
